“I want CMU PD to not instantly side with a claimant…. People can lie straight to their faces and it results in someone else being wrongly cuffed and brought to the station.... They replicate a lot of things that other police departments do that aren’t just, like when they say, ‘if you didn’t do anything wrong, you should just say what you did’ when you plead the fifth in an attempt to get you to incriminate yourself. CMU can restructure an investigative division for actual serious matters... The existence of CMU PD almost incentivizes going around the built in justice system involving housefellows and such.”
